NEW! Our online Memorial Beads catalog is here: http:/www.Memorial-Beads.com/shop.
If you would rather not send flowers to me, I can purchase flowers from my local florist to make your Memorial Beads with. The price of the flowers would be calculated into your invoice.
1. Email me. my email address is catherien@hotmail.com. In email we can discuss the Memorial Bead keepsakes you would like to have me create.
2. Make payment. You can now go straight to our online catalog to purchase the items you have ordered. Online Catalog here.
My shopping cart has a secure server. I accept paypal, personal checks/money orders from US residents, and debit or credit cards with the MasterCard, Discover, Visa, or American Express logos. If you are a US resident and are sending a personal check, please include your phone number and driver’s license number on the check. Please allow an additional 10 days for personal checks to clear. We accept international orders, payment can be made by paypal or credit card, and we ship worldwide.
3. Send your flowers. Fold a paper towel into fourths. Place just the petals (no stems or leaves) in the center fold of paper towel, with a double-thickness of paper towel on either side of the petals. Lay them in a single layer of petals, preferably not overlapping. Use a separate paper towel per flower. Place the paper towels in a manila envelope. CAUTION: Please do not put the paper towels in plastic zipper baggies, plastic wrap, or bubble wrap. This will restrict air flow, and the petals will mildew.
Send the flower petals to our address below. If you would like delivery confirmation, the post office can do that for you at a small additional charge. Delivery confirmation lets you know when the package arrived, via a tracking number you can use at the post office’s website. (www.usps.com) I will email you once the flowers have arrived.
Our mailing address is: Charlene Therien, PO Box 10581, Peoria IL, 61612 USA.
4. How many flower petals to send? The number of petals depends on the type of flower you are sending, and which items you are wanting made with that flower. I use a rose petal as a standard measurement. So, for example, if you wanted one large-hole bead made, you would send one rose petal. If you wanted a bracelet with rose petals on it, you would send 4 rose petals, which would be two beads per rose petal. If you wanted a pendant, you would send one rose petal. So on average, the larger the item, the more of a rose petal would need to be used. The heart charms use the same amount of rose petal as the standard sized beads, which means you could have two heart charms made from one rose petal.
5. I’ll begin working on your order. Due to the volume of orders, please allow 6-12 weeks for me to finish your Memorial Bead keepsakes. Cards and gift wrapping are available; just mention those when placing your order. When I’ve finished making the Memorial Beads for you, I will email you and let you know that everything is ready for shipment.
I ship first class, unless otherwise requested. If you are an international resident, tracking is available with priority shipping only. After you’ve received your shipment, please drop me an email and let me know everything arrived safely.
6. If you would like to share your story with us about your Memorial Beads, you can do so on our Comments page. There is a link to that page in the sidebar on the right of this page.
